I was thinking Saturday the 17th September, Usual rules 100cc or less, or a 125 if you have owned since before the 1st of January, Nutters need only apply! He said Nutters need only apply, he didn't say only nutters need apply. Exactly, hence my enquiry. ..... if nutters only need to apply, what additional steps do non-nutters have to do in order to join in? I realise this isn't an issue you'd have to consider .

Hoping the new machine will be ready and prepared for Sutton Bank. You've got a new van ? Might have well have. The old one has been extensively repaired after one of my employees tried to drive it under a 2m height barrier!! Anyway enough of the van & nutter talk. Where are we stopping in Scarborough? Or are we going back to Whitby?

Attending runs isn't cheap for anyone. Booked accommodation for JR16 at £148, then you have to get there, Either hide in the corner (If you're Martin or Trev) or buy a round or two. petrol, food etc. best part of £300 and I'm local. I suppose petrol is cheap at the moment. Head South and the cost of attending a run is astronomical

Either hide in the corner (If you're Martin or Trev) or buy a round or two. Excellent - I pull off the bar-avoidance coup of a lifetime & poor old Trev gets tarred with the same brush .

Though to be fair, even though he's from Lincs, he isn't in your league.
I guess he'll be along shortly protesting his innocence and producing an extensive list of both times he's visited the bar.
Probably stopped riding last year because next round was his.
We know it's not true Trev.................................. well not all true.

Is the AP50 fixed?

Post by ContourMac on Jan 15, 2016 19:58:52 GMT
Yes. Problem with the AP50 was the oil (ALERT!! ALERT!! OIL THREAD WARNING!!). It had standard semi synth10/40 where it needed old fashioned mineral. Changed the oil, ran it to flush the system, then changed it again and it has run fine since without any clutch slip. On the other hand the RG50 was handed back to Steve and hasn't seen daylight since so the fuelling problem with that is still a mystery PS dug out a photo of my old Agrati Garelli from 1978

No spare parts need carrying, now if you said spare bikes, that would be another thing! anyhow I was hoping to have a choice of steeds myself and preferably not the slowest steed this time! it does look a good bike for the run, though they seem to go for daft money to me!

I did look for a Townmate for the C to C 2015.
Way too expensive.
Hopefully work will start on the C50 soon.

Hopefully work will start on the C50 soon. I hope so too! Was thinking we'd be having fun swapping rides, but last time was too risky as most seemed a bit unreliable . ...... be nice to have a reliable Honda C50 to blag a go on . (Hondas present last time either needed spanner work or could only manage a crawl up the hills .)

From what I can remember the Kawasaki survived pretty well, considering the owner forgot it was a two stroke!
