On the e-buyer site I did read that the V3 did not take the SDHC type card... I don't know, I'm just playing safe by getting a standard card.
Anbody know about linking the blue tooth facility of this unit with a hemet mounted receiver? I'd rather have this than wires trailing -

Looks like our favourate Navigos have finished but the good news is they are selling this unit instead the F&H which looks like the navigo V3. www.ebuyer.com/product/159765Now a word of warning if you buy one you won`t be able to install Tomtom the same as you did on the Navigos. It works a little different to the navigo but the good news is that it will run Tomtom once you know how to do it. I wont post how on the boards but tell you how by PM if you purchase one and cant figure it out.

Navigo V4 or F&H N30 which ever you want to call it. Well they have updated the trusty cheapo Satnav again. It now comes with 2GB internal memory and a micro sd slot on the side for expansion. It will run TT7 with version 8 maps from it`s internal memory or from the sd card through the travel kit menu and seems quicker than the previous versions. Nice matt black unit with a compact windscreen holder. www.ebuyer.com/product/188955Again another bargain.

... Well they have updated the trusty cheapo Satnav again. Well that's quite handy, as I seem to have lost my V2 somewhere on the Lincs practice run . But I don't have a lot of luck with satnav..... Bought a Streetpilot3 in 2005. Traded up to a Quest. Broke that. (got run over by one of my bikes, bust the aerial & cracked the body. Tried to repair it - it was having none of it.) Another Quest - was rubbish. Poor sat acquisition & dodgy maps. Broke it. Bought a Navigo - broke it. Bought the V2 Navigo - lost it. Bought a super-mega-all-singing-all-dancing Zumo550. Used it once for approx 2 hours (Cotswold Capers run). It packed up, never to restart. Currently back using the trusty old Streetpilot3 ;D.

Martin I think it would be cheaper for you to stick with the old paper type navigation as it seems that you and technology don't mix.

Same as his wallet contents then, he's still got white fivers in there you know

I use the F&H with earbuds. Have loaded Tomtom on it and it works fine. Speech is crystal clear

Had an email from website some of us have used for Navigo in the past for updating? Seems like they have been warned. clip from email ,
Hi, it is with regret that we will no longer be able to host any TomTom software or links on this website. This is due to legal issues which have developed with TomTom. As I personally do not upload any software I advise others who do to not upload anything to do with TomTom. The help pages will be staying for now although some content may need to be removed. I will update this post as things change. Cheers, Chris.

Yeah - I'd noticed that too at that Very-Easy-Satellite-Navigation dot com website. I'm sure finding things to do with TomTom elsewhere will not be such a chore.
