Quite like that. Always wondered why they need the engine bar when a C90 doesn't. Because it's not an engine bar, it's a skid plate to protect the engine from rocks.

Bikes are looking very nice. I should think you'd have to watch your leg on the exhaust of the Honda going up some of them hills. Smell of singed hair lovely.

What with Beverley the only Essex girl from Scotland (the ultra whiteT ornadoortoise desperately tryoing to shed weight so he like The Grand old Dook of York , can get up and over the hill(like him) on whatever shed he gets to go long enough from the back of a van ha ho ho ha, and then there tryer but no hoper HRH' even if sponsored by Danger Moose,(with his distinctly non mobile HC square uber non cool VV 3box, never mind the smoke from that 'ondar theyll be lost in a cloud of mine and dust(even if she is restricted) just lurve that aroma of 2T first thing of a morning, as for Mac's 50 well Think M40 man might be the only competition(if one keeps the revs down) www.facebook.com/100003095379855/videos/931201690326335/Only kidding yar guys

Bev jr on the wee GP can fairly screw the mph from it. Sadly I recently discovered the C50ish has a slight bend through the frame. Probably explains why the damn thing was so difficult to get the swingarm off. It became obvious something was wrong when we were rebuilding yesterday. Amazed I didn't notice before but it is slight though probably terminal. I've purchased something else for the C to C, Pick it up on Saturday. Does a BMW K100 qualify.

No doubt as long as its not White-and only runs on one stroke of one cylinder
you know of course I'm only kidding.
and sorry to hear of the frame, sad as you have done all that work, sods law, &I have a good un doing absolutely nothing sat in the shed(well buried in there with two other bikes).
Might even buy the spares off yours if you still have them and prepared to meet halfway, at Cockermouth, if I do actually make it oop tar Tiddler run this year.
Maybe I should resurrect it beforehand and give you ol boys(well young wippersnappers not even thought of in time to witness the impact the 66 Viva HB had), a sporting chance huh?

Can it not be straightened, can't be that hard to get it close. Looking at how thin the pressed frame is in places I think probably not. It isn't too far out but enough to make things look wrong when we put the replacement swingarm and suspension on. Probably needs more than it's worth, which doesn't usually bother me, (within reason) but safety does.
No matter, some of the new bits will fit my recent acquisition and anything left will be listed. I've gone for reliability over speed with the acquisition.

When are you going to splash some of your hidden millions on a 100cc rocketship and join us ?
My new acquisition looks very nice, meets the criteria for the run and I'm fairly confident it'll make it there and back even when it finds itself wedged up the crack of my arse. Might no be able to keep up with the GP100, or some of the other doctored steeds, though I'm banking on a re-run of the tortoise and the Hare.

Nice job. Ever thought about doing this for a living?. No, there is no money in it I am currently working on my bsa bantam, replacing the chock a block connections, with proper crimp connections Just some bits in order to get it up to mot standard, the headlight shell needs replaced, as does the switch, and it could do with a rear rim replaced, as it lowers the quality of the rest of the bike.

do you know any that are wanting to buy? Well, it'd be a hoot on the C2C. Mind you, I know someone who has one, so I might get to have a go on it without splashing any cash .

You often find them three months later somehow on the other side of the garage wedged between two paint tins. Your spring clip should therefore be in office of the business three doors down.

The past couple of months I have been renovating my Honda CB400f, It ended up needing a full engine rebuild, It was burning a lot of oil, the problem seemed to be number two cylinder, which I discovered that one of the rings was broken, but I also found a damaged number one cylinder, but someone must have replaced the piston and rings in the past, I re ringed the engine and removed the damage sleeve and replaced it with a good used sleeve, As I was this far in, I decided to replace the hy vo chain, and the cam chain and tensioner using an endless replacement chain, and re paint the engine, and whilst it was out, I painted the frame in two pack satin black, it wasn't an all out renovation, just a fix and tidy as that's all that was needed, Since I have finished that I have now sort of started refurbishing my spare wheels and bevel drive to fit my R80G/s, prior to a small refurb on the bike, I am going to rebuild the wheels with stainless spokes, the early bevel drives on these, only have an O ring stopping oil from migrating along the brake cam shaft and covering the brake shoes in oil, later drives are sealed with a tube right through the drive, to stop this, because it was a common issue, I plan on converting it to the later type by reaming it out and fitting a tube right through, The brakes are scary, so some improvement needed there, a bracket made and a modern 4 piston caliper fitted
