I hope to get down to IoW for this one. If it's anything like last year's run it will be a blast - even without the fords

I would like to ask if I could attend as I have never been to the Isle of Wight. Will I be ok on my 125? ie will you guys blast of into the distance?
I wouldn't be interested in camping so what B&B are nearby and also what ferry do I need?

No need to ask - if you want to go, just sign up. As for blasting off into the distance.... we operate a marker system on runs so no-one (theoretically) gets lost - you'll always have a back marker behind you. There aren't many places you can cane a bike on the IOW.

We best get a confirmation from Ady that the run is on, but ferry details available here: www.wightlink.co.uk/ for Portsmouth to Fishbourne and Lymington to Yarmouth. www.redfunnel.co.uk/ for Southampton and East Cowes. If it's a goer, then we can discuss meeting-up along the way .

;D I would just like to point out that the silver volvo will NOT attend any club runs ever again ;D ;D macewindu.... the IOW is pretty, but you are sure to be able to keep up, there is no straight roads more than 400 yards long!

If it's on I could be tempted to make the long trek South. Not going to the BMF the week after so might try this one. Couldn't really do much further for a club run.

I think we are all waiting for the nod from The Hobbit. Last years was a good weekend, I even enjoyed the ford!
Hoping to hear that someone has booked a caravan and wants lodgers ;D

Going to have to pull out of this one. Debs knee is not recovered yet and Physio advises will be another 5 weeks before she can think about riding a bike.

Sadly, I can't change my long weekend off from the week after which I'd booked for going to BMF.
Bit far for a short weekend.
