Hi Coriolis, Easy to see there's no salt in Spain, thats one tidy D6 you have there. trev There's a lot of salt in GALICIA, NW Spain I've just made a journey on January 12, and found a lot of rain, salt, SNOW and ice on the road. I cleaned the Divvy two times but there's salt in some parts that I can't clean. Advices...?

Hello, I'm a Pub Manager living in Malvern Worcester. But I'm a Welshman from Abertillery.
Just bought myself a '92 XJ600 Diversion S - and crashed it on the same day.
It's currently in bits in the backyard of the pub, I'll post some pics once it's straight again.

I cleaned the Divvy two times but there's salt in some parts that I can't clean. Advices...? Use a hose pipe to direct plenty of water over the areas you can't reach. It will hopefully disolve the salt. (Then get an old toothbrush & do it properly .)

Greetings Divi Pilots! I am John, and I live near Junction 9 of the M27, at Whiteley in Hampshire. I own a 1999 XJ600S and a 2004 Royal Enfield Bullet Classic. I am interested in meeting and riding with people in South Hampshire. I am a member of the Royal Enfield Owners Club, and have recently joined MAG. I have previously owned the following bikes: BSA D7 Bantam (the bike I learned on) Matchless G2CSR BSA B25 Starfire Honda G5 250 Yamaha RD400C I have also toured the Island of Rhodes on an old Yamaha Virago 250, and Lefkada on a Yamaha 125 trail bike (2 up ;D). Hoping to find and meet up with some of you in 2008.

Hi John, welcome to the YDC, and all you other newbie lads and lasses.
John the easy way to contact other riders in your area on YDC is to post in the 'Runs & Meets' section. Something with a subject heading like 'Any Hampshire Riders out this Sunday?' will reach your local members I would think.

Hi, I am a 'proud' (read foolish and sad) member of the CX/GL MCC and the owner of a much loved and slightly abused CX. Due to an iminent house move and subsequent 50 mile, each way, commute to work I find myself looking for a post 97 XJ 900, I have heard nothing but good reports and on discovering they are shaft drives (apologies for my ignorance) and low cost to purchase I realised that it would be great to at last own a Yamaha. I have owned 16 bikes in 18 years and never a Yam! Anyway being a regular on the CX/GL Site I realised that if Diversions had a similar site/club it would be great to join and tap into the collective brain, so here I am hoping you are all full of wisdom, knowledge and also friendly to newbies? Any comments on this choice of bike greatly appreciated as purchase date is fast approaching! (WHOOPEE!) p.s I am keeping the CX, but that's another story. Regards Jim ;D ;D ;D

It's currently scattered all over my garage, as I've had the frame and all the other metalwork powder coated, but it's slowly and steadily being rebuilt. ;D
