Hi Beeblemaster, thanks for the welcome, you should try and have another go at the cx/gl club site it's very good now! I to have an imported US Custom, which has had various mods. Bit disapointing with the welcome here don't you think? should I have another go at saying 'hello' on the 'general' page? Regards Jim

Sorry you're dissapointed with the welcome - I think you're on to something though - the general board may get a warmer reponse - I for one haven't checked this board in months ! Regarding your impending purchase, a 900 Div would make a superb commuter - comfortable, reasonable weather protection, easy to maintain and good value for money. Not cool and trendy perhaps, but a well ridden 900 will easily outperform a badly ridden race replica. Loads of luggage options, and tons of expertise on this site - so browse away and ask if you can't find your answers - someone always seems to know . Despite 1st impressions, most of the members are mostly harmless (quite mad, but mostly harmless) Welcome Roger

Hi Mags, welcome to the group, hope your bike isn't too marked after dropping it,how far outside Glasgow are U? Not much damage a wee scratch to the fairing and a new indicator lens have ordered up engine bars a good idea I reckoned. Come from Greenock just down the M8 from Glasgow.

I am just down the road from you in Largs; and used to work in Greenock, so I know the area pretty well; and thanks to my previous job, I know some of the Greenock pests as well! I know another girl who is doing that MacMillan cancer relief run (Sandra, who has a VFR400 and is married to Frank, who has a Fireblade...both from Greenock). Give us a shout on here if you are heading down this direction any time.. Al.

Sounds like El Fuego and Pooh won't be the only pair of t*ts on the Jock run ;D Dave ;D That's another to add to the list Mr Fiasco. I feel some Photoshopping coming in your direction. Mags - Hello and welcome to the farm. Don't try and follow half of what goes on here or your ears will start to bleed. I've been here for years and I still get a headache trying to make sense of some of the sometimes sadly deluded club members who live south of the Border. Having said that we're generally a very helpfull bunch so if you've got any bike probs just shout. If you are going to be in the Fort William area when we're up it woudl be a blast to get both groups together in the pub. We should have between 40 & 50 people from our end. Pooh
