Hi just joined in the hope someone can help i am currently stripping my XJ600 S it is a 2002 , was just going to get the wheels freshened up but the frame could do with getting refurbed as well. So it is currently stripped down to bare front forks , swingarm , engine and the the frame. However i have now come across a couple of problems. The bottom rear shock absorber bolt freely turns but is seized solid to one of the collars , that may not be the biggest problem thou. The other bigger problem is the rear engine/frame bolt is seized feels hard to turn , so far it has been soaked in WD40 now AC-90 as well recommendation. Has anyone got any tips as to how to get this bolt out , the front mounting engine bolts are free so it is just the rear engine bolt that is stopping me from getting the engine out
