Hi, Trying to remove the engine on my 1995 Divvy.
All going well till I get to the rear bottom engine mounting bolt! Solid !! I got the nut off, gave the bolt a tap, no movement. If I turn the bolt the sleeve and the bushing on the nut side both turn also. It would appear to be solid in the bushing.
Any ideas on a way to move this??
Cheers

Looks like it needs the old sledghammer and socket holding onto one side with lump hammer and drift walloping on the other. Its a 2 person job or you'll duff-up the bolt.

Thanks for the reply.
It was not going to budge no matter how hard I hit it.
I have chopped each end of the bolt off with a recip saw and got the engine out...eventually.
I have to say I'm not confident about getting the replacement back in, it took so much wiggling to get it out I was getting to the end of my tether.

When a bolt is stuck like that, you wont manage the hammering on your own. It needs another to hold the backing sledge hammer up tight against the frame. Sometimes cutting the bolt is the only option.
The bolts are plated, but when that's gone electrolytic action with the aluminium causes the steel to corrode really fast so it siezes up. A good anti sieze paste will help for when it goes back together.
