My wee 600 project bought from a fellow forum user , got it for a decent price. Had to buy some yokes sill to get a new rear disk and chain to complete the rear end. All calipers to be rebuilt with new braided hoses and realy needs a new tank as this one is full of rust and had a repair underneath.......... All of which is cash dependant ha ha On starting reassembling decided to get a newer loom as the original was a bit crispy and breaking. ..

Me too, but wouldn't life be boring if there were only one or two posts a day and just about Yamaha Diversions ? Thank heavens intelligent human beings can communicate about a wide range of subjects or even different bikes, like Hondas.

As you can see the can has had a brush with the tarmac so plan is now it's all painted black I am going to get either
Get some aluminum or stainless sheet, then cut it into a strip to cover road rash and rivet it on with rubber behind it to insulate from small leaks from rivet holes and rattles.
Then I will clean up/polish strip and hopping it doesn't look like a random bit of plate more of a can slider / crash protection .......... We will see tho.

So after a bit of a dry spell I managed to pick up a couple parts pretty cheap so had a few hours on the bike today.
Got a gpz750 oil cooler, made a couple of brackets up and joined it to the origional pipes from the oil sandwich plate.
Got a fzr rear disk so got that fitted and the torque arm for the rear caliper.
Finished painting up the heat wrap on the exhaust so got that's fitted too.
Anyway enough talking and let the pics commence.
