We've now got a date for our daughter to go in for some hospital treatment which is Thursday 13th.

Although it's only a day thing it's too close for us to go gallivanting away at the weekend.

You don`t have to do Tom Tom just down load Tyre www.janboersma.nl/gett/index.php and open the files with in it and you will see the 2 halves in detail.

Just had a quick look at the route and I noticed the B5056 on it.

Part of the road near to Fenny Bentley has been closed today:

"...closed
B5056 Derbyshire - Closed both ways due to landslip between A515 at Fenny Bentley and A5012 at Grangemill. Diversion in operation - via the A515 from Fenny Bentley to Newhaven and the A5012 from Newhaven to Grange Mill..."

A diversion for the B5056 could be to head up the A515 and through Tissington, that would put you back on the B5056 past the part that's closed.

The trouble with that is the far end of the road has to go through the ford.



Might be worth going to watch.
