Thursday. MOT, Insurance and Tax for Trophy12. Plus popping over to Bangor for an International Driving License. Came home the long way, down the A5, through Capel to the A470 to Llanberris then over Denby Moors to Abergele. Traffic building up, but only a few caravans on the roads. Denby Moors were fab. Nothing on the road for miles at a time.
Friday, sat in the garden enjoying the sun for the day, and a BBQ with family and neigbours in the afternoon/evening.
Saturday. A morning of golf with son and bother-in-law. Got stuffed by my son for the first time. He landed one drive on a par three 16 inches from the pin, and he is only 15. An afternoon on the XJ600s, enjoying the bends on the mountains in North Wales. Met up with a friend at the Ponderosa, enjoying the bright, but cool weather.
Sunday. Just about to make breakfast in bed for SWMBO. It is 18 years today since we tied the knot. Let me hear you all say "Ahhhh!"
Tomorrow....? No plans yet, but son is talking about paint-ball
So far it has been a fantastic Easter Weekend, but I was wondering what others have been up to? RMJ

Friday, had a dress rehearsal with our new tent for the IOW run to make sure all bits and pieces were there and could get in it. Don't think I did anything else after, can't remember. Yesterday me and bro decided to out on the bikes. So got maps out, drew a route around your neck of the woods... via Oatcake shop for Brekky ;D So went to Denbigh via Stoke and Chester, then took the B4501 (stunning) down to llyn Brenig, then on to Llanberis (even more stunning), then Carnarvon, A4085 etc on to PorthMadog, then A470 and A4212 (awesome) to Bala, then home along the A5. A nice 320 mile round trip. Of course we realised while doing most of these that we were doing some of the Welsh Rarebit 06 again ;D Today, a quiet day. Tomorrow, don't know.

Friday, Llangollen and the Ponderosa.
Saturday, Cat & Fiddle and Matlock Bath
Today, we're just setting off to Sunny Hunny (Hunstanton).
Tomorrow, BSB's on telly, but we might just go another ride instead.
And sod the garden!

Well Fri and Sat spent most of it lavishing some TLC on bike. Today Mrs wanted to go out, so Pannel car boot, followed by sprog saying she wanted to go to Bolton Castle so, me thinks OK nice day to go out. Nice run up to Leyburn then across tp Bolton Castle, not bad, but £12 for the 3 of us..... Then on to Asgath falls for another walk. Back via over the tops to Skipton for some fish N chips. All in all a good day out mared only by being in the car..... Sprog was waving like a looney at the bikes on the A65 into skipton. Me just wishing i was on one....

New girl seems happy to join the harem .... Mmmm, m40man, it looks like you have a CX500B in your harem. I dont care what anyone says about the Plastic Maggot, they have a certain charm and character of their own. Indeed, they will become a true classic. Wish I had one as a second bike

Friday: Took my 13 year old son out for his first ride on the back of the bike and headed to the Ponderosa cafe. Was diverted down some little back road by the police who had closed the road on the way to Ruthin, and promptly got lost. Got to the cafe eventually. My son must have changed his mind about which bike he would like about six times as we walked around the car/bike park, he eventually settled for the MV Agusta Brutale, whilst I was coveting the F4 parked next to it (and wondering what it would look like with a top box).
Spent the rest of the weekend looking wistfully at the weather as I have been busy doing family stuff.

Friday was spent mostly sorting out what I need for the new patio I've got to make. Saturday day morning doing various jobs. then in the afternoon acouple of LM's to find for the Round Britain Rally. Which meant a run from Sheffield up to Bridlington and Falmborough Head. Then keeping to the coast roads as much as possible riding up to Saltburn on Sea in Cleveland before turning inland for the second LM. Then back down to Sheffiled covering about 250 miles. That run up the Yorkshire coast I would recomend to everyone. Good roads brilliant scenery. Due to a change of plans we were left with an chance of a run out this afternoon so went in search of two more Lm's which due to a lack of proper research I got wrong and we didn't find the right places. But we had a run through parts of Lancashire and Yorkshire. Liked the bit between Hebden Bridge and Haworth , yep, Bronte counry. Did about 170 miles, weather not so good, very windy and surprisingly cold over the moors. We will wait and see what tomorrow brings, but I ought to start that patio. In amongst all this we had our Step great grand daughter around a couple of times this weekend always a source of fun. Wish I hadn't put that makes me feel old reading it back

Hi Justo, Know what you mean about all of the fab bikes parked up at the ponderosa on Friday. My fave was the green silver Binelli. Mummm. Lottery win garage. I think that the Rocket III got the most attention of the afternoon while I was there, all heads turned when it started up. Quote ...whilst I was coveting the F4 parked next to it (and wondering what it would look like with a top box). LOL - like the way you think RMJ

Friday - Stripped all the plaster off the walls in my dining room (with help, Bloke & his Dad did most of it really) then payed my new nephew and his Mum a visit. Saturday - Went shopping for Easter Eggs, one day I'll learn that leaving it until the last minute is not a good idea. Breif visit to my Sister's to deliver Easter prezzies (no chocolate, got them a baby sling instead). Then the major cleanup operation started, its going to take me days to get rid of the dust from the plaster , spent a couple of hours visiting a friend who has borrowed some jigsaw puzzles from me, we finished my 3D grandfather clock, I might mount is all on cardboard and leave it assembled as a working clock now. Sunday - Priority today was the bike, new brake pads all round, and a few other minor jobs I've been putting off, didn't get around to washing it though so it still looks like its had a mud bath. Today - Cleanup operation continues, downstairs done, upstairs left to do (although thats not quite so bad), also doing my baking for work: bread rolls & banana loaf. Tomorrow - I'm back at work weighing aerosol cans must remember to take it easy on the way there and back till my brake pads bed in. Bloke's got the day off and has promised to tidy up the garage (wayhay, I might be able to find my tools again once he's finished, lol). Wish I'd had chance to get out on my bike, but the work on the house and bike were higher priority. Never mind, my work contract finishes in 2 weeks, so I will probably have a day or so to go out and play before I start the next contract and my new tyres and brakes will be worn in properly by then. Doof

I have worked every day since Thursday last week, except saturday when i picked up my new cage. I have to admit I have been driving that rather than use the Divvy as someone worries about me coming home on the dark, wildlife filled lanes, after midnight.
That reminds me I must do something about a high power headlight for the bike soon.
Oh and a new front tyre this week. during my 4 days off while the rest of the world is at work.
