Bad luck Cookie Hows she going to wash your bike while wearing a plaster? My weekend involved a nice solo blast yesterday afternoon and meet up at local bikers cafe for banter and weetaking. Final testing/refining of the Isle of Wight meet route today with the missus on pillion. Only one major road due for resurfacing so back to 'mapsource' tonight to route round it. Was looking forward to watching opening round of BSB on ITV 1 at 10.45pm and....replaced by some crappy hidden camera show "coveting the F4 parked next to it (and wondering what it would look like with a top box)."- A darn sight better than my bike without a top box ;D Ady

Over to Normandy with Debs & Max900 to check out routes for the French run. 800 miles over w/e and lots of wine, beer & sunshine. Full report & photos to follow.
Teffort. Let me know when you are picking bike up. I live near Wellingborough so you can pop in for a cuppa if you want or if you need a lift.

Thursday, packed the car and drove up to Arisaig. Friday, ran for 8.5 miles along the A830 from Mallaig. Saturday, kayaked from Traigh golf course north towards Morar and Mallaig along the Arisaig shoreline. Went swimming in the sea off our favourite beach. Sunday, pottered around Mallaig for a while then went back to the beach to fly our kite. ;D Monday, reluctantly packed up and drove home. This weeekend, fly to Paris to run the marathon on Sunday. Ride safe, Tommy.

Thursday a.m. -- Dentist appointment Thursday p.m. -- down to the Margaret River wine region. Unfortunately, over Easter, the traffic is too dangerous to take the bike, so went in wife's KIA. Good Friday -- Just hung around the farmhouse on the vineyard we were staying in -- lots of good wine and good food. Saturday -- lunch at a winery (Watershed: www.watershedwines.com.au/) then home for more wine and food Sunday -- for something different, lunch at a winery (http://www.woodynook.com.au/) then home via the Bootleg Brewery (http://www.bootlegbrewery.com.au/) and a "few" pints of "Raging Bull" (http://www.bootlegbrewery.com.au/beer.html) Monday -- pack up and drive home; stop for lunch at a friend's house which is -- a winery! (http://www.killerby.com.au/) So much wine, so little time! ;D Bruce

Ady; "Only one major road due for resurfacing so back to 'mapsource' tonight to route round it."There's more than one on the IOW! ;D Ps. shouldn't take 'em long to re-surface it, 1 lorry load of tarmac , if they've got too much they could always make a speed bump or two. trev

We have three main roads I'll have you know Trev If you were manly enough to make the long journey down to the IOW meet, you'd get to see them! Mind you, I appreciate that if your away, theres the problem of who's going to 'exercise' the whippets, ferrets and pigeons(spelt rite lol). Pubs down here could well be problematic, as they only serve beer, not the watered down shandy you flat cappers are used to Ady ;D

Biwoz - Sounds like you need a bike trailer or an exocet/stinger launcher on the bike.
