Or, in a similar vein, a nice XJR 1300 would suffice. Double post (i.e. absent minded, post before you think it through) Ed The XJR is way better than the GSX.... but then the ZRX1200 is the daddy. The GSX14 is strangled - needs some breathing on to make it a good bike. Why buy a lump like that when you can have a bandit for less ? As for the FJR.... that's for Fazer owners who find pipe smoking a little rebellious.Apparently with every new FJR you get a set of dominoes and a supply of incontinence pants.

Well yes by any objective measure it is - indeed just the shaft alone makes it outstanding. However, it's a bit plasticy, isn't it? And those colour coded panniers are gonna get scratched to f*** when they've been slung in and out of a tent/hotel room a few times. ...but yeah, outstanding bike. Be interesting to see what comedy persona Fiasco comes up with for it! :-)

OK..... I think it's about time that all the beardy members (you know who you are) admitted to themselves that Fazer time is beckoning. You can't deny it forever. Buy a Fazer, smerk a pipe and relax whilst chelping on about " how this were all fields in them days..." Don't blame yourselves..... senility happens - nowt you can do to stop it.At least you don't hanker after a FJR..... ;D

As a newcomer, to both the Diversion and this club, I must say, that the Diversions days may be numbered, and I am not saying that they are. It is people that count(Members) and from where I am standing, you appear to be a very enthusiastic lot. This coupled with a well run website, the make and model of the bike, owned by members, at this stage, is immaterial. I would be happy to be a member regardless.
