You lot obviously need reminding that 2/3 of the management plus an ex-AssMan ride Fazer 1000s. What's an ex Ass Man? Is it Derefood not coming out but going in? Some will no doubt say I'm overreacting, but I've about had enough if it. There comes a point when light-hearted banter ceases to be that and just gets annoying and insulting. Got to be worth an exalt, no on second thoughts it isn't gonna smite you instead to let you know the real pain suffered at the hands of these illiterate bandits. Ps. please do not confuse this Trev with the one that has earned so many exaltations since this site was set up ;D TeeJay

Nothing wrong with lifting a shirt or two apricot I feel I must agree with tj63, the Fazer 1000 is a great all rounder, and I enjoy mine immensely. That said, I enjoy riding most things. Mark xx

I'm sorry I starting this TJ. Will learn from it and keep my mouth shut in future. Thanks for the links to the FAZER sites. Quick run to Matlock today made me think the Divvy (fast green one) will stay for another season, but the run in with the Porche out of Ashbourne helped.

Don't be daft JB, you asked a perfectly acceptable question, please don't keep your mouth shut, that's not what message forums are for. It should be me appologising to TJ for starting it all a couple of years ago (think they were quite glad I joined them :-) ) Let me take care of that -1 karma score to make you feel happy! Dave ;D

JB you have nothing to worry about just keep asking any Q you want.
Now the problem would get out of hand if I bought a fazer - Imagine being welsh and a fazer owner. Would never hear the last of it.

"you can't seriously believe we all aspire to Fazerism." Interesting comment. Of course we don't as that is demonstated by the number of different bikes within the club. However the fazer is a very attractive looking bike and to fall under its spell is very easy. Personally having both divvy 6 and 9, the answer is clear. Chains are a (bal*ache) decision made. PBD

On the evidence of yesterday's Egg Run, at least one third of the management i.e. half of the previous Fazer owning bit, has now defected further to FJRdom.

It really needs a shaft. What the bike world really needs is a modern equivalent of the GSX1100G. A shaft drive naked big bike with a bog standard simple engine in a low state of tune and no pretention. A B12 with a shaft. The world needs a naked Divvy 9.

A well known and respected Fazer owner has decided enough is enough and is now selling his pride and joy. All I can say folks is you won't get me down. ;D Sorry to see you selling Ian but what I really want to know is What is taking it's place. Go on you know you want to tell us.

Go on you know you want to tell us. you have me all wrong pops, respected me, can't be, i prefer infamous ;D dunno what to get next, would like a sports tourer more inclined towards the tourer, with shaft drive and better wind protection, but the only ideas i have is a bmw k1200rs, or a pan, will still be keeping a fazer though, but next to sell is my low milage divvie, i have a need to reduce my bikes down to 2, im only selling the fazer 1000, cos its worth more than the fazer 600, if someone would rather buy the fazer 600 then i would reconsider selling the 1000 if you know what i mean ;D

BMG 1150 or 1200 GS with screen/fairing made by the outfit who's name I forget that makes all sort of fancy goodies for BMWs. Failing that the 1150RT with the chip upgrade to sort the low speed chunter. If on a budget, the 1100s are still fine bikes. One day D
