Have you had any joy finding a spark?
I know you've said you have checked the coils, just checking when you fitted them did you clean the paint off the frame where the coils bolt on to the frame so they have a good earth?

Tell me I'm not that stupid, I didn't? I left the powder coat on because something said to me they'll earth through the plugs on the head? Surely if they were bare metal they'd have rotted to dust before now..

I just remembered I made a wire to go from the coils where the bolt attached directly to the frame.
In my latest venture I'm by passing the earth on the Ignitor straight to battery. I'm just busy at the moment.

Surely if they were bare metal they'd have rotted to dust before now.. You are right save your powder coating, I was thinking of another type which do earth back through the main core. I've fitted the coils back on to my Kawasaki but still have had to clean off some of the paint due to the wiring harness using the coil mounting bolts has earthing points. They are not as exposed as the divvy coils and tucked well up under the tank.

I've just this minute advertised it for sale on Facebook. You gave it a good go - hopefully it’ll be bought by someone happy to carry on where you left off. Good luck with the sale.

I wonder if the new owner ever got this done. Seemed a shame to give up after all that work.

It was a shame, but i lost interest & bought a house so i wouldn't have any time for it now either. I've got a Cagiva Raptor 1000 work horse now. No plans really for it, its a dog.
