I am...................... Mark I Live in................. Rochester, Kent My bike................. XJ600S Ex Bikes include...... Z200 (my learner bike) Z250, R100RT, T120(the true love of my life).
Having learnt on the kwaka Z200 I used a Z250 for a year or so then went to two bikes using the Beemer for work and the 'real' bonnie for enjoyment, enjoyment that is until a car driver wiped me out on Shooters Hill in SE London, by the time the insurance company realised that if the car hit me and pushed me across the road into a wall and then continued to push the bike into a lamp post it probably wasn't my fault (but i'm not bitter!!) and paid me my money for the bike I had children and needed a car. So after having occasional rides on mates bikes i went for a divi and it ain't the fastest machine in the world but i love it and its mine.

Hello all,
I am...............Simon I live in...........Cornwall My bikes.........MZ TS250/1 and currently awaiting a Divvy 600 (e-bay acquisition!) Previous bikes....various BMWs (well made but unwieldy), Honda NVT650 (didn't go for the V- twin experience much), other MZs (I love MZs...sorry...)
Only been motorcycling a coupe of years, still looking for the ideal middleweight bike which i can handle comfortably and which has the power to outrun ar***ole car drivers. The MZ is a superb bike and admirable piece of engineering, I'm hoping the Divvy will fulfil my other requirments...

Guess I'd better put my bit in here... Had bikes since I was a child. We didnt have a car so cycled everywhere. When I was 17 (1975) got the first motorbike - CZ175. Various other British & Japanese stuff until I was mid 20's when I bought a house and a car. Had a few bikes intermittently since then, but family, job away from home, etc made it hard to take even more time away at the weekends. Got an MZ ETZ250 in 2003. Much maligned bikes but apart from a few details really are excellent at what they were designed to do. It's said there are two types of people. Those who love MZ strokers and those who have never really ridden one. My wife & I separated in late 2003 - getting a bike even though it was only about £500, with fettling, probably sealed it. It was a nasty drawn out divorce but gave me time to rethink what I really wanted to do. I'm now in my second year at university studying to be a chiropractor. Only 3 more to go Originally I was a power station engineer and later a freelance technical author. I also tried self employed plumbing but that's really not the gold mine many people seem to think it is. I lost lots of money on that little enterprise. The green Divvie 600 came along last May. £1000 R reg with 815 miles. I took it up to 13,500. My brother bough it from me when I got Stoph900's green Divvie 900. Long term, when I'm earning properly again, I want a "classic" Suzuki GT750 kettle, MZ GE250 (totally barking 80's crosser that makes 45bhp) and a BMW GS1150/1200. The Divvie 900 will also be in there somewhere.
