I wait yours reactions... billbo (who's like divvy...) ;D Thanks Billbo I lived in Alsace for 2 years a few years ago, but I don't get much opportunity to speak French these days. I think that a meeting of the French and English Diversion groups would be a very good idea. When and where is the French reunion to take place? (TSJ translation - Babelfish Pah!) Hi Michelle and welcome to the funny farm The Divvy 6 is a great first "big" bike and I hope when you've passed your test you find that out for yourself. A good few of the members on here also own BMW's ( though we try to keep it quiet ),so perhaps your other half will join too. Have fun on your new bike and stay safe. Trev

Hi all, I found this site by accident through e-bay. As the title suggests I work in the trade, but nothing to do with Yamaha. I got my XJ600N last year, I was looking for something a bit bigger to carry by boy as pillion when the need arises (I also ride a CB250RS but it struggled a bit with both of us on) I was looking for a CB500 but they were thin on the ground at the time and a bit beyond my budget when I can across the XJ and decided to have a try. Turned out to be a good decision, suits me and my budget (the boss man was a little gobsmacked after my nearly thirty years loyality to Honda but like I said, the bike was cheap). Anyway, 46, have ridden ever since I was 16 and don't have a car license, married, two children, had six and a half years off the road through sickness and seven years and one month off work but back again now and making good progress. Boy it was good to get back on the road in 2005, good to be back to work part time in 2006 and should be nearer full time in a few months, and really good to find a forum for the XJ. I live on the Norfolk/Suffolk border by the way, in Suffolk, just. Please to meet you all anyway.

As somebody who has recently passed her test I'm interested in talking to other bikers. My son used to own a divvy and suggested this site as you're a "friendly bunch".

Hi Bob, welcome to the Divvy club. there are quite a few members north of the border on here, indeed there is a Scottish run coming up at the end of the month . Things are a bit quiet on here this week-end as there are a couple of meets on. I think you'll find us all a friendly bunch and not unheard of to have a bit of banter . regards Trev
