Who: Neil "Flash" Stone Where: Saltash (Technically Cornwall, but I insist it's Devon to wind up the wife) What: "L" reg XJ600S Diversion - Red (and pink where it's sun faded) Other: Just taken the Bike Safe course run by the plod this weekend, had a great time, learned lots and feeling more confident already. Being at this end of the country means that the summer BMAD meeting and the megaride are in easy reach...

Hi all, I'm Dave from Nottingham.
Just getting back into riding after 30 years without, yes you guessed it, one of those silly 40 odds reliving younger days.
I'm after a divvy but not sure whether to go for the 600 or 900, maybe the 600 would be a safer bet to start with ?
Any one know of one for sale ?

Hello folks I'm easilydiverted From Winsford, Cheshire (just passing through ... for the last 21 years!). I ride a 93 XJ600s in red, with matching fairing lowers, had it for about 2 1/2 years. Also Honda NTV650 and currently looking after daughter's Suzuki GSF400 Bandit. So many bikes! So little space! I've been a lurker on and off here since before I had the Divvy so it's about time I registered in the hope that I might be able to help someone out sometime from the depths of my ignorance. Pics to follow in due course. easilydiverted

Hi Ian, and welcome to the site. There is a wealth of info on here for the Divvy owner, and many other makes too for that matter . Have a good look through the technical articles and if you need any help just ask in 'general' (most folks look there first . Nice looking bike you have there too. Once again, welcome, Trev

You'll find a load of information on here and make some great friends too. You've got a decent group of Jocks local to you too and I'm sure they'll welcome you too. We have a meet and run weekend in Scotland (I believe it's going to be around Dumfries, but Brandane will confirm) at end of May so hope to see you then.

My club is bikerbabesfimarsmcc. Welcome to the club Elspeth! Would I be right in thinking there is a typo in the name of your club? Possibly an "r" between the "i" and "m"?? Or am I just hoping that such a club exists? ;D. I'm off to oggle, oops I mean GOOGLE! BEEBS; keep yer brummie mits off our Jockesses. . Hope to post something very soon re the Jock run 09, it will be in the Dumfries/Moffat area with ride outs on the Saturday and Sunday. In the meantime there is a wee night out arranged for next thursday at the Counting House, George Square, Glasgow. As Beebs says, there are quite a few members around this area and all are very helpful. Some are even quite knowledgeable! So just post away with any questions you might have. Al.

Thanks for the warm welcome - I think! and glad you seemed to like the club website. The gang are at a rally this weekend and it will be great to get out and join them soon. Got insurance sorted today. Scottish run sounds good and yes, looking forward to meeting you all . I am not allergic to bikers from south of the border either. I will keep an eye on my spelling as you are obviously into the detail.
