Hi Ade - Thanks for the welcome. I'm from Leeds in West Yorks originally but for the past 10 years have been living in Holland. Really enjoy it here, but no use looking for hills where I live. It's flat as a pancake. I've been riding a long time (you don't really want to know how long )Got back into biking again about 8 years ago and now enjoy it even more now than when I was younger. The Diversion is my favourite bike. I've also got three other bikes and a vintage Vespa scooter. I just love being out on two wheels.

Welcome to the YDC. You will find the Divi 900 an excellent bike for your commute. I ran one for 3 years and loved it. Took it all over Europe. Great bike 1 or 2 up.
Hope to see you on some Runs in the future.

Wellcome Will - Enjoy!
Great lookin bike! How good are the headlights at night? My lad had a similar looking fairing on his TDR125 and we had to put on a pair of spotlights to make it any good at night at any more than 20 mph!

Kenny: Hi, Welcome to the club. I call first refusal on the GS850 (beat pasty boy to that one!)
Megz: Again welcome. As to tips for being a good pillion here are a few. 1. No sudden movements 2. Make sure rider is ready before getting on and off. 3. Learn the phrase "it's my round" 4. Learn the phrase "I'll pay for breakfast" 5. Don't bang your helmet into to the back of the rider's during gear changes. 6. Don't give the finger to the neanderthal truck driver when approaching a red light.

Hello everyone..I came here a while ago, maybe 4 years.I had a Divvy 400,Grey import. You were always a friendly & helpfull site.If I remember someone sent me the Spec for the 400.Much appreciated at the time.I live in Peterborough & now ride a Vn800 Kawasaki Classic.Riding the Divvy 400,was a turning point. I realised that riding comfort was important above all...So it put me on the road to my cruiser...

I am:..... Martin Coulson Live in: Bath, Somerset but work in Sutton Coldfield Ride: 1984 xj900 - came out of a barn 18 months ago where it had been sitting for 4 years. Only 39k miles since new and 2 prev owners who never abused it. Amazingly, it goes well... engine is sweet etc mainly due to Terry at D&H of Bath. But.. front forks and handling are a nightmare - the fork oil and seals replaced but it dives - so got them pressured to 10psi. Now it dances... New springs needed? Also got: BMW 1150RT(for the weekly commute), BMW R80/7 (Sunday afternoons), Honda CX500 ('project')

Hi,
This is my first visit to the new look forum! I was registered on the old msn forum and visited it regularly back in 2003 and 2004 but I'm afraid my old 600 Diversion has been off the road for the last 18 months. I've still been riding regularly though (got a Sprint ST too). Anyway, I'm now trying to patch up my Diversion and hope to be back on it in a few weeks.
Cheers to everyone here. I know you're all a friendly lot.
Gareth

Martinc - Welcome to the YDC. Good to hear of a XJ 900 being rescued. You will have to bring it along to some Club Runs for us to admire. Progressive fork spring s normally sort out the front end, along with 10w oil.
Garethjv - Welcome also. You'll have to get that D6 sorted, then bring that along too! But...we have some Triumph fans here!
;D ;D

Hi Richard Welcome to the YDC and to motorcycling. Now you are on 2 wheels I bet you wish you were back in North Wales! There is a Club Run in that area shortly.
Loads of experience here to help maintain your Divi 6 should you need it.
Hope to meet you on some club runs.
Keep it upright.
