I believe there are vegetarian options and the option of the roast dinner without the meat or gravy is popular with a lot of vegetarians...There is always trouble ahead...
Should anyone prefer eating in the evening. The pub we finish at has a 2 meals for £10 menu.

Hi All, I hope I'm not to late to join you on this run, I've been sitting on the fence due to other commitments. I've just asked Pool boy if a hotel share is still on offer. As I'm late to the party I won't be doing lunch on Sunday, I'm sure missing a meal won't do me any harm! Cheers Vaughan

Also got back just after ten knocking on 550 miles for the weekend (that's about 320 if the U turns are taken out thats Simons Martins & mine when I got lost trying to find the hotel ) Well over 50 to the gallon for the weekend for the Fazer I don't know how it does it hauling my lardarse about. Thanks to Simon for the run Ade for back marking & Roger for letting me share his room. I wont thank Martin & Roger for backmarking as they obviously missed each other as Flymo & me had kept them apart. Good to see some old faces (no I'm not having a pop at you Bob ) & some new. Looking forward to next time I get let of the leash. Neil

Sorry for the delayed thanks Simon, was pretty comatosed by the time I got home last night at 8pm, had dinner than fell asleep in front of Moto GP!!
Great days riding, 360 miles for me, and don't remember ever feeling so tired after a run, so you must have put us through our paces!
Roads and stops were excellent, and enjoyed the trip down through Cheddar Gorge, the way back up would have been more interesting if the twit in the Jag in front hadn't kept stopping!
Thanks also to all the assorted back markers.
Good to see everyone, all in all a good day, cheers
Dave

great weekend, thanks Simon for organising the run. My saturday started earlier, with a jaunt over to hereford and down through brecon onto Cardiff, yes I made it..... back to gloucester, could I find the hotel ! could I ####. on the A417 says the directions.... follow the signs then the next sign has NO A417 on it to follow, so after trying every exit permatation, and speaking to oracle Neil, found it at 5.15pm.... some miles from the saturday run start at 5.30... arrivied with low fuel, with petrol stations seemingly in short supply, we set off, then.....a petrol station appears, so i pull in, but nobody cares and leave me all alone....... now remembering the stop was somewhere in malvern, I thought I'd follow and get close then call and sort a re group.... well poor simon sets off back to petrol station to collect me, but I'm actually just a few miles away so sledgegreen comes over to collect, and we arrive back before poor simon !! ( thanks Sledge g, that trailer !! ) and so sorry simon, xx Sunday was a much better day. no mishaps... really enjoyable day out, some lovely countryside and views, and some dodgy nearly green laning with some lovely open roads to play. nice to meet up with the regulars again, and to meet a few new. thanks for the company Home Ade, the Fosse at night is 'interesting' especially when you can't see much, my visor was shocking.... as soon as something was coming in the opposite direction, couldn't see a thing, the visor just seemed to make the lights 'fragment' like looking through a shattered window...plus the splatted insects! home rather tired, after two long days in the saddle, but most enjoyable..... OH, and neil doesn't snore....... > .much

I had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend, thanks Simon . Neil & I set off from Groovy Grove for a 'nadgery' route to where I thought we were meeting Flymo. Hung around, ringing him only to get no reply . Still, Neil was able to offer Roger (BW) some remote support regarding his travails. Finally met at the Sat Bimble start, just a few mins late, then a nice run ensued. No one was surprised when Roger again created havoc with his run participation - maybe we should buy him a satnav . Sat night I drank moderately, so enabling me later to fully appreciate the snoring of my bunk buddy . Sunday was an early start & ambitious run distance, no doubt in part due to Simon keeping quite a few 'nadgery' bits in, for my benefit . Some lovely stretches, the odd u turn (apparently I've lost that crown ), & also a slightly bewildering run through part of Bristol to check our low-speed riding skills . Weather great, company better, all in all a grand weekend. Thanks again Simon for leading & also 'tother back markers. The self-proclaimed 'slow rider' must have been left wondering where all his potential markers were at times - we told you you had nothing to worry about .

...enjoyed the trip down through Cheddar Gorge, the way back up would have been more interesting if the twit in the Jag in front hadn't kept stopping! We missed that - the back markers felt suddenly compelled to take a ciggie break at the bottom of the gorge, by pure good fortune setting off again when the road was pretty-much clear ahead .

Thanks to all who attended and for the stirling backmarking which kept it all together even when the run leader was in the middle of the run! Weather was better than I could of hoped for and it was great to catch up, and to meet new people. Thanks for your tolerance when I lost my route and dragged you through the arse end of Bristol and of course for losing the run. I realise the extra miles and slower unplanned route made for a tiring day before a long journey home.

Excellent weekend,
Thanks to Simon for putting on a run with some interesting places, most of which i have never been before so that was cool, thanks to the various back markers for sterling work as we have com to expect from you wonderful people.
@ fiasco why didn;t you just overtake the "twit in a jag"....
Appologies for bunking off at 6-00, i'd already decided in my head had we not finished the run by 6-00 i would head for the motorway and bugger off home so that i got in at a reasonable time, i know that we were not too far from the end, but then you waste 30 minutes having coffee, saying gooodbye to everyone ect. anyway...
So yeah Thank you once again i look forward to exploring that corner of the country again some day.
Regards
Flymo
