Well what a cracking day. Brilliant weather, Great Roads and in the company of some of the best people I know.
Great to see Pooh and Jan & the new Pooh Mobile. It is a cracking looking bike in the flesh. Sounds nice too!
Great to see old friends and a few new faces.
Thanks Roger & Naomi. Just what the doctor ordered!

We're all back in one peace, thanks to everyone and to Matt who took jess allday and to Dave who took cj.
Had a great time on my 1st run on my own bike, and I'm sorry to anyone who I held up cause I wasn't fast enough. I'm getting on a lot better with my bike now and can go round corners a bit better now.
I managed to get 66mpg out my bike for the whole run, Oh and thanks Naomi for the " woohoo you've made it"
The kids are now sat in my dads hottub chiling out b4 bed (and to help them sleep lol)
See you all at the Derby run
Linz, Pete, Jess & Cj
Oh yeh this whiskey is going down a treat.

Well what can i say.... After what seems like a very long time indeed (think it was last september 'oakcake run') to be back in the company of such fine friends and then to be lead around some of the best roads in warwickshire was bliss.
Great to see so many regulars and a few new faces too, and some new bikes too....
Thanks Roger & Naomi, for a cracking day with some nice stops too, and of course thanks to all the backmarkers.
Regards Andy

Brilliant weekend, many thanks Roger and Naomi for organising it.
Thanks to my roomy Martin for the company, was relieved to see there was actually snooker on TV after he asked if I fancied "watching snooker" ;D
Great to see old friends, meet some new friends, and thoughts with those that couldn't be with us this weekend.
Looking forward to Scotland now
Thanks again
Dave

Home at 7:25 safe and sound with the back tyre still apparently up to pressure (I'll test it tomorrow and if it's still pumped up I'll have to see if I can finally wear it out before Oban ) Many thanks to Martin & Dave for various bits of help and equipment to effect a fix. Great roads, great company, usual Divvy run stuff but very welcome after such a long break (for me) - looking forward to Oban 430 miles for the weekend at 47.6 mpg (If I believe the bike's computer) Thanks Rog and Naomi for the organisation. Carol says "HI" in case I missed telling anyone

Home just after 7pm, but had to pull in a bit of work before looking in here . Great weekend - thanks Roger . Back-markers as always did great work too, thanks. Everyone has beaten me to it really - just a great weekend . Fiasco makes unsettling noises in the mornings . Some notable absences - missing you . See y'all soon for more fun .

Thanks go to everyone for a great weekend, participants, backmarkers and especially Roger. He not only sorted the route etc, but made sure everyone had food and drinks at the stops, and generally making sure everyone was ok.
I take my hat off to you sir.
Bet you are glad it's over eh Rog?

Got to echo what's already been said. It was good to see the crew again, first time for a while. Some cracking roads, scenery and the odd bit of progressive riding made for a good day. Unfortunately Jan & I had to bunk off after the lunch stop as I had to go see Mr Dentist in Stratford at 2.30 (yes Dave it was very much a case of tooth hurty ). Interestingly enough it was 44 miles from the lunch stop to Stratford and we had just under an hour to do it through bank holiday weekend traffic. Some 6 cylinder music later and some somewhat progressive riding saw us there at 2.27pm. Big thanks to Roger & Naomi for organising and to the back markers for the rear end action.

Sounds like you had a good 'un, gutted I couldn't make it. The weather gods shone on you too after all the recent rain. What's happened to Verde's mush?, and did it affect Fern's ability to ride? (she must have an itchy saddle nowadays )

Hi Guy,s Well the P.a. and myself had an interesting weekend. John had a small mishap with his bike which I will let him write about. We stayed at the Holiday inn very good value nice and clean and good breakfast eat as much as you want highly recommended. Good Saturday night with the crew I do enjoy the mix of people who attended, and the run itself nice road,s no moment,s reported as far as I know, the lunch stop was a great place they even ran a train for us to see. So GREAT JOB Roger and Naiomi

Brilliant weekend thanks to Roger and Naomi and the back markers, great to meet up with you all again.
Unfortunately i had a little mishap en route attempting a U turn on a hill and the bike toppled over, just a bit of gravel rash on the fairing and a broken brake lever, nothing a bit of T cut wont sort out.
