I'm afraid it's not very exciting. But here goes..... We bumbled down to Coventry had a great evening and spent the next morning wandering around Coventry. The Transport museum was good and free ;D. Went to leave but found some toe rag had smashed my ignition switch, obviously the didn't see the dirty great chain and disk lock locking the bike in place ...... But at least they didn't touch Ferns bike. Rang RAC for transport home only to be told they don't recover vandalised vehicles .. So I rang E Bike just in case they could help, they said 'no problems somebody will be with us in an hour' and 'for a free recovery' ;D ;D ;D. Been into KTM new lock bought and will be here Thursday, so just the tamper proof screws to remove and away we go ;D Bob

How infuriating - still, better than it could have been.
Note to self - review RAC membership

Rotten luck there Bob, glad you got sorted. Note to self - review RAC membership Yeah it's only for breakdowns Rog. There's something in the small print that sort of says they'll come out if all other means exhausted, but will be chargeable

Yes they will recover breakdowns and accidents unlike the AA. They will recover a vehicle from being attacked by toe rags, but it is an £80 call out charge and £2 per mile Ebike were very good, which was a pleasant surprise ;D
