well, we had a 'trial' wun and actually found the right roads, (we think).... found a nice mid morning Tea room, and a fine victorian lunch stop, shame the prices have since risen!! currently the afternoon part has no stop, as haven't found anywhere suitable, just a few laybys! for a leg stretch/smoke and a behind the bushes exploration ( which would be fine for the gents!),, so still some work in progress required, and as per all my school reports, could do better run distance should be around 120, no planned petrol stops ;D how many suzuki's signed up?? plus thought it needed a bump up to.. ;D

bump....
the planned lunch stop, is a victorian tea room, which has free parking, but would appreciate a donation on entry, to help with ongoing restoration... we plan on having a little collection at lunch to add to their collection, hope nobody minds, but think a 50p a bike maybe plenty. this is NOT compulsory..Naomi will be passing the hat during lunch !!
also need to confirm numbers before we arrive, as tea room cooks all food while U wait, so will be posting up a copy of their limited hot menu/sandwichs ,so if we can pre order as many as possible it would help us on the timings, and them for preperation..
IF it's just a cuppa and some cake, no need to pre order...
ALSO, any volunteers for back marking duties?? if we can get a few, we can share them out, and who has any hi viz vests?? available for the run??
roll up roll up, lets get a few more signed up Pleeeese

The P.A. AND MYSELF. ;D Shall be attending this run, unfortunately by the time my friend made his mind up to attend there are no twin room,s left, so I had to book us into the Holiday Inn near by £39 inc breakfast so we do not require the cafe breakfast. He is also unsure as to what time we will be able to leave home,he need,s to pack his real job in and concentrate on my need,s. Oh and not sure about this riding at the rear thing! I may sack that pa. Methinks John may be safer sticking to his day job ;D

Another trialed run yesterday went well, but a bit wet!! now found our afternoon tea /pee, Thanks to Tigger ... seems to work out about an hour per section, approx 125miles total run distance.. NO planned fuel stops...so please arrive with full tanks of fuel. very few A roads, but NO green lanes or roads with grass growing in the middle! but some great roads with some sharp unmarked turns !! should keep you all interested on on your toes, so to speak... Verde should be well at home, especially on the 'track' to lunch stop....(must keep him at the back here though) anymore signing up !! anymore for hot food? two weeks to go...

I would like to join this run as i will be in Leicester on that day and have nothing planned might as well enjoy the great British summer.
It will be my first run with this club, I know the time and place and I will fill the tank up before, anything else I have missed? - one question .. Will we finish at the same roundabout we started ? because my road knowledge of the area is not very good.
I'll have a Jacket potato with tuna on the day, no breakfast. See you all soon.
