Hi All We have decided to base the Saturday night for this weekend around the Premier Travel Inn - High Wycombe www.premierinn.com/en/Rooms for Saturday 11th Sept currently available for £58 for a double or family room. I would recommend booking hotel rooms sooner rather than later as they do get full up there. There is a Brewers Fayre restaurant attached to the hotel, and biker friendly pub just round the corner. Tesco's is less than half a mile away for brekky and also investigating another potential brekky venue. Linz and Pete have booked a pitch at the following campsite, which is about 15-20 mins from the pub. Highclere Farm Newbarn Lane Seer Green Beaconsfield Buckinghamshire HP9 2QZ So, we know that the Saturday run will start at Jack Hill Cafe' Towcester abput 12.00- 12.30pm, calling at H's Diner (formerly Fox's) at about 3.30 - 4pm in the afternoon, then back to Wycombe for those who are staying there. Hopefully dinner and beers at the Derehams Inn round the corner from the Premier Travel Inn (TBC). Sunday, brekky at Tesco or another diner nearby (TBC) then to the farm for the Family day for opening time at 12pm. Will fill in the gaps over the next few weeks. Sign up sheet can be found at diversionclub.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=clubrunsignups&thread=11180Dave

I'll be there. On me own! Dave has the kids for the weekend. I'll be staying in the Travel Inn and will attend both runs and the family day as Dave will probably bring the kids along! Dave...can you confirm if its the Premier Inn or Travel Inn? They're two different companies!

We popped into the Derehams Inn last night, some of you will remember the little pub round the corner from the Travel Inn where we had the auction one year and BBQ the next. According to the barmaid she thinks Kids will be allowed, but need to speak to the landlady to confirm. They do basket meals there, or may be able to do a buffet for us on a cost per head basis, will speak to the landlady soon. They have a nice garden with a big covered area if wet, and much nicer beer and atmosphere than the restaurant attached to the Travel Inn, so envisage suggesting the Saturday night there. Spoke to the lady from the farm on Friday, she said she won't charge an entry fee to bikers, but a donation to Air Ambulance would be good. Entry fee will be £3 for adults and free for Kids under 16 Keep you updated as things progress Dave

Bump Currently this is the last event of the run season, so please consider coming along to join us for what will be a run on Saturday and more of a family social event on the Sunday. Bring the kids too If you are planning on coming and not on the sign up sheet, please let me know as I would like to get an idea on numbers for the Sunday. Dave

Hi All I need to try and finalise things for that weekend, so would be grateful for info on if and where people are staying (if applicable) so I can sort out Saturday night and Sunday brekky. Is anyone booked in the Premier Inn ? Please check the sign up sheet and let me know if you are on there and have some updated info, or cant come now, or are not on there and will be coming along. diversionclub.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=clubrunsignups&action=display&thread=11180Hoping for a good attendance, looks like we are going to hit the fund raising target before the presentation (with a final push!) Dave

Hi dave, i could do with some taxi numbers so we dont have to drive on the sat night. Linz Hi Linz Have just spoken to a couple of local cab companies to the campsite: Chalfont CabsOld Beams, 3 Households, Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire HP8 4LJ 01494 875 522 are quoting £18 before 10.30pm and £25 afterwards Beacon Cars1A Station Parade, Beaconsfield HP9 2PB 01494 675 256 are quoting £18 - £20 each way. Add the camp site fees and you may be better off booking a family room at the Premier Inn @ £58, and it's 2 minute walk from the pub and warm and dry with a bath / shower Best wishes Dave

Hi All
Am considering revising the start of the Saturday run from 1pm to possibly 12pm or 12.30 latest. This will be confirmed after some route experimentation this weekend.
If this earlier start causes an issue for anyone, please let me know asap
Cheers
Dave
