NOB = Northants, Oxon and Bucks
Our chosen charity for this year Thames Valley Air Ambulance have asked if we can have a club presence at an annual event in their honour at Hazeldene Farm in Chesham, Bucks on Sunday 12th September.
We will hopefully get some pics with the chopper etc as well as a good club social occasion, and I am told some good home made burgers (that might tempt Beebs) .
Saturday
We will be having a Saturday brunch meet at Jack Hill Cafe' in Towcester (ideal for those coming from the North), from about 11.30pm, then an afternoon rideout leaving Jack Hill at 12.30pm.
www.jackshill.co.uk/index.php
We will be covering some of the Nothants / Oxon / Bucks area, stopping at the Windmill in Brill (if it aint howling with rain) then on to H's (formerly Fox's) Diner near Oxford about 3.30pm - 4pm in the afternoon, then on to High Wycombe Premier Inn for those staying in the area or those that want a longer ride. The total distance will be around 125 miles, or 95 if you leave from H's Diner.
Please arrive with a full tank of fuel, there is a petrol station near the A43 / A5 junction half a mile from Jack Hill Cafe'. There will also be fuel available in Winslow near the toilet stop, this is about 45 miles into the run.
Approximate Saturday Run Timings (subject to change after testing on Friday!)

The event officially starts from 12pm, but they would like to get as many bikes in as possible first (I think we are part of the exhibit, hence free admission )
We have now pledged our support as a club for the event, so would be great to have a good turnout. Please wear YDC t shirts, hats etc if you have them. The Goldwing club will also be along. Please also bring a stand puck as we will be parking on the field.
Quite a few Children coming along to the Saturday night and Sunday Farm day, so feel free to bring yours along, the Sunday is geared towards socialising rather than riding.
