Started rebuilding the forks Monday, only to find the company had sent the wrong oil seals. 54mm instead off 53, the they sent me some replacement dust seals..
Oil seals should be on there way today.
Pain in the ass, pyramid parts!

Nice to hear the good news (the re-build) I mean. What are the seals for? And are you replacing the swing arm & rocker bearings? Oh and have had the engine cleaned - blasted or such? Nosy sod arn't I?

Engine I'm not sure what to do with, I'm just trying to get the frame rolling at the minute.
New swingarm bearings I've got Rocker & linkage bearings I'll be buying, except the £30 one.
Still need to take the swingarm to powder coaters, no time!

Wrecked the swingarm, trying to get he bearing race out I never got out..
Plan was to cut it with a mini grinder which I did then bend it inward.
But the thing is like its welded to the inside of the swigarm ive cut a gap and tried to bend it but it's just f****** the arm up even more.
gent thing

If you have access to a welder you can run a small bead of weld on the inside face of the bearing, with the heat and the weld it will shrink the bearing and release it hopefully. Just don't weld the bearing to the swing arm or you'll be back to square one

I'd go silver with the fork bottoms & swingarm. Good work on getting past the recent struggles with bearings .

Got some bits from the powder coater, i dont know why its looks so sh*t on camera they're real smooth in person. On a bad note, i did send the swingarm with the other things & during the blasting process they found it had rotted through! So that will be welded & then a plate welded over it, bad times. £438.31 +£45 £483.31

The rest is solid, but it is severely pitted..
The problem with buying another is they are all rotten, even the one you have linked looks rotten where the hole has appeared in mine.
I'm sure it will be fine once welded.
