Ffs! Seems an easy enough fix to move the fuel line/ filter a tad further away. Less easy than you'd think! Really need a smaller filter, its a bit tight around there - but after the last one started leaking everywhere (*), this is the smallest the car accessory place had . ...... got 62mph (on the clock!) down a big hill tonight . (*) Wonder if it got too hot ?? Is it going to make the run or are you trying to kill it beforehand?

Was gonna suggest you fit a vent too, but an historical event sprang to mind, so don't go there

looks like M40man fancies a burn up. Could get flaming expensive. Well, if it's firing right.

Could you not put a cable tie/s around the fuel pipe and filter joint connector, even the retaining clip, just to pull it back away from the cylinder fins,as it looks awfully close and especially as a previous one you say failed.

You're mistaking me for Captain Moneybags, awash with cable ties aplenty . Also, you think I've invested in a retaining clip ? But I accept the underlying premise that something needs adjusting - or otherwise I'll have to sacrifice some luggage space to store an appropriate number of fire extinguishers .

Probably used them all up holding the rest of the bike/state of the art luggage system, together.
Now that I've managed to prise the keys to the GP out of Jr's grasp* I'll have to have a think about uprating the rear suspension. Is that within the rules ?
*Due to my tardiness at restoring the C50 it doesn't look like he'll be joining us.

Was put off when it needed new forks, decided to just go ahead and get on with it when I finish and return Wullie's 600N to him, he'll love the new Rangers FC stickers I've had lacquered into the tank.
Nope suspension all good, just a bit wimpy for a real man. Work fine for a lightweight like Jr but creaks a bit with me on it. To be fair the poor bike thinks it's hauling 3 people with me on it. it was designed for spotty yoofs.

Both the Honda S90 and cb100n now have Mot's
Though the cb seems to now have a cracked headlight, that I have no idea how it happened, it's taxed and on the road though,
I found out that I never received the S90 V5C, so can't tax that until a replacement arrives!

Ordered a rack from a c50, to bodge onto the S90, a small rack not something bigger than the bike like M40man fitted to his!

Such talk of large & small racks - you'll have Trev busting a blood vessel in excitement . I re-routed my fuel line today so the filter is further away from the cylinder head. That cooler fuel is going to give me the edge .

You still seem to think it's a race so I think we should have a handicap system, You need to load that ridiculous scaffold contraption hanging off the back of your bike with 14 stone of potatoes.
Last one there buys the chips.

Fixed the S90's speedo today, now I know how slow it goes, does 48 thrashing it in third, but only 55 in top, all speedo readings and not checked with GPS, it went onto reserve whilst I was out, so I filled it up, 6 litres it took! maybe it will be worth only using one pump when we fill up on the run and square up later!

That's assuming that we arrive at the petrol station at the same time.

Honda C70 rear rack modified, note how little it is compared to M40man's abortion!

Honda C70 rear rack modified, note how little it is compared to M40man's abortion! Looks like I'll be carrying the stove & kettle, & you'll be carrying the teabags. A couple of Hobnobs too, if you pack carefully .

Given that size apparently matters I've ordered new shocks for the GP, maybe should have raised it by 10mm at the same time. I hope they fit. Now all I need is a 250cc engine to slip into the frame when nobody is looking and the race is on.
