Hi all Just registered with your club so will probably get this in wrong place. Has anyone tried an MRA vario touring screen with small spoiler on a Yam XJ 600 pre diversion? I am thinking of fitting one but would like to hear if there are any problems eg turbulance.
Also has anyone found any good hand guards? I need them to keep wind/rain off. If anyone has any ideas or advice I'f be grateful. Thank you. henry

I had one on my 900 and hated it. The screen was turbulent with the spoiler down and un rideable (above 60) with the spoiler up. IMHO, the flip angle starts too low and spoiler angle is wrong. Dont bother.
Do a search for hand gaurds but anything that will fit wont be cheap.

I had one on my 2000 Fazer 600 and liked it. It provided better wind protection than the OE screen. I am 5' 9" and it suited me well.

I'm a bit "meh" about mine. With the spoiler down it's not too bad but with it fully up it's very noisy and buffeting.
In its defence - and probably why Neil liked it - I'm 6'4 but have a relatively modest 31" inside leg, which makes my seat-to-top-of-helmet height that of someone about 6'7 or 6'8. The airstream would probably sweep over the top of a shorter rider but with the spoiler up it's directed right into my visor.
I haven't tried it with the OE screen yet (which Neil kindly included) so I'll report back on that.
