Just picked on of these up for my wife - bleed nipplpe in the rear has beed sheared off. Can anyone tell me the thread pitch for a replacement banjo nipple - believe it is M10 x 1.00 or m10 x 1.25
Also would a caliper of a 92 seca ii be a direct replacement if the caliper turns out to be dead - if not what else would fit straight on
thanks James

I assume that all I need from the thundercat is the caliper and not the Master cylinder etc
thanks J

same thing happened to my rear caliper, tried to get the remnants of the bleed nipple out using a reverse thread eazy-out but split the body of the caliper in the process!! :-( i now have a rear caliper from a 1984 XJ600 pre-diversion on my 1999 XJ 600 S so i know they fit! :-D

Had the same problem on my XJ600N (95) managed to drill out the bleed nipples and found M7 bleed nipples fitted. I did try fitting a caliper from a xj600s (91), it was a wee bit different but would have fitted, but its better to try and drill out the bleed nipples (carefully)

No need - just use a hose banjo bolt with integral bleed nipple. Only one slight issue - you might have to turn/angle the caliper so the bolt is uppermost to get the last spots of air out.
