Hi All,
My 92 600 S has a strange sort of Upper Screen & Fairing bolt on which looks a bit aftermarket and was wondering if someone could gibve some information on it.
My Bike is the S but also has a lower full fairing. The parts im not to sure of are fixed to the top fairing, one on the left hand side and one at the right and there is a high type screen fitted to these and into the main lower screen holes.
What I woul dlike to know is, Are these a normal part for the Div S or are they a factory option or an aftermarket piece ?
Ideally I would like to have a lower screen on the bike which i think was original from looking at the Microfiche but unsure if the parts on mine should be left or can be removed ?
Cheers Anthony

Seems to have been an option. I think it is down as a wind deflector kit. My '92 600S has one.

Cheers for that.
I though it looked decidedly add on or aftermarket. I was hoping to find a normal standard screen to fit but they are like the proverbial rocking horse poo.
I have just refitted the fairing risers and tall screen and will have to get used to it.

I think mine has got the same too! I think the front fairing should be 3 piece (L, R & Screen) instead it has 5 and looks like the 2 smaller side bits are definately add ons... the right one has started to fall off too and has snapped off the back right fairing bolt GUTTED... anyone know of a good repair? Or does anyone know if a later divvy's front fairing will fit onto my '92 frame? Araldite seemed to work for a few days but now it's flapping about a bit again Stu (I can't figure out how to show pics)

Flappy Fairings = Not A Good Look As per the pics, the highlighted parts on mine are "Cheek" sections which bolt to the fairing and support the upper screen bolts. My Upper Front Fairing also is a two piece unit with the cheek sections bolted on. Form some angles it loos quite clumsy but at other times its ok. I actually took these parts off when I bought it which reduce the width at the front of the bike but finding an original Screen is difficult. Cheers Tone
