I had the original mirrors that came with my divvy however the plastic shroad that prevented them tipping forward had broken on one of them and i foolishly removed the other form the opposite side leaving me with 2 mostly unusable mirrors. I spent ages trying to find OEM replacements but to no luck, particuarly so in my price range but luckily i found a few cheapy's on eBay. cgi.ebay.co.uk/Yamaha-XT-125-225-250-350-500-550-600-660-750-Mirrors_W0QQitemZ370100386734QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Motorcycle_Parts?hash=item562bb3bbae&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12|66%3A2|39%3A1|72%3A1683|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50I bought these, they were advertised as yamaha specific with a 10mm thread so i assumed they'd fit, on top of that they were cheap! So after about 8-10 days i got them from taiwan, they were marked as a gift also so no silly charges on import. Initial impressions told me they were alot lighter than standard, which may cause some vibrations, but i dont expect any more so that the standard divvy mirrors. Furthurmore the actual size of them were smaller but a nicer sort of teardrop shape. So i fitted them to the bike no problem and they look so much nicer than the standard ones. So they do fit, and i expect they work, but ill let you know how they are after a ride out. Reccomended seller too!

I put these round mirrors on my 600N three years back. No name or country of origin. Very stable and vibration free. The round form reflects the headlamp, instrument pods and the tank filler cap (when astride the bike)!

Wemoto used to do some aftermarket ones but they are too short ie they give you a nice view of your elbows but not much past that.....
Be very interested to know if the arms are long enough on the XT ones you got....

Mine came with some nast aftermarket carbon mirrors which were too small to see anything in. I went for the XT mirrors as they were sold as yam specific however i failed to note that the aftermarket mirrors were both standard thread so the r/h mirror woudn't fit. In the end i had to lop the end off the mirror & gen a new piece braized on with a reverse thread. a quick rub down & a spray of paint & it looks spotty dog :-)

I had some pattern mirrors for the old XJ600 which fitted well on the D6 and did the a fine job. BTW - If you are considering fitting bar risers, get some ROX anti vibe risers. They look good and they stop the vibes so well the mirrors actually work.

Well ive had the mirrors on for about 200 miles now and although they do the job they arn't quite long enough to give a clear view of whats behind. infact i have to pull my arms in quite a bit before i can see out the whole of the mirror. also they vibe just as bad as the old mirrors did. I'm considering fitting some old bicycle innertube under the bar risers and seeing if that helps soften the vibes.
Other than that i can atleast see behind me again, barely.
Good, quality product although they may not be ideal if you rely heavily upon seeing behind.

Even if you can get the clamps on, innertubes under the bars wont do anything for the vibes and there's a risk the bars will swivel around. Rox risers do the job - well worth the cost.

I tried it once - same result. I even tried longer bolts to really pull the clamps down and bent one. But I was only about 18.
