Fancy a nice challenging ride through the Lake District? Well you don't get much better than this. The nearest I've done to this, so far, is Applecross.
Did some of this route back in August on the way to the Lakes run, and it was that good decided to do this again, plus a little more last Thursday. It really is a must for all Adventurers

After crossing one very steep mountain pass (Wrynose), you immediately start Hardknott and it's even steeper. 1st gear hair pins all the way up and down with tarmac and road in pieces ;D. First time I did this in August I stalled the TDM going up in 2nd gear on the apex of a hairpin, and that was certainly a challenge trying to keep it upright and staionery on such an incline.
