If you don't understand, Pooh, I can't explain it to you.
Please don't feel in any way inadequate just because you don't appreciate the finer things in life.

Please explain the difference. (You sound like the guy who bid on my bike on ebay then said it wasn't worth it when he won ??)Its cost is £36.7 million cos thats what the highest bidder paid. Its worth os about £2. Thats the price of the materials. The guy who bid on your bike knows more about then worth of bikes than you.

Do you think the person who bought will get home and go "look dear, look at the bargain i got today." or maybe it will be "hmmm maybe i paid...slightly over the odds"
I personally wouldn't give 50p for it, unless i could sell it on for 37million.

If its worth £37M now it will be a load more next year deffo. That sort of dosh can't lose But to make sure Stevie could always get a flunky to tippex the wobbly lines and trim it down to fit that handy Ikea frame thats been sitting idle for weeks.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder A fool and his money are soon parted Could be, but there'll be an even bigger "fool" along soon enough to buy it back. The buyer stands to make a fat wad of millions just for holding on to it for a year or two. IMO its rich man's one-up-manship. Beats working.

I've got a work of art designed by the bloke who did the gas dynamics for the German Messersmitt 262 jet engine and invented the 2 stroke expansion chamber exhaust. Top guy. Its a genuine worn out MZ ETZ 250 piston. ;D Wonder how much that's worth

"I've got a work of art designed by the bloke who did the gas dynamics for the German Messersmitt 262 jet engine and invented the 2 stroke expansion chamber exhaust. Top guy. "
His name was Walter Kaaden. Two stroke aficiionados everywhere should erect a 10 foot statue of him in Japan and make Suzuki top brass worship at it on the anniversary of his death every year.

Thats the guy. Cant beleive how similar my "new" kettle is to the MZ 250. I reckon a kettle Allspeed would make an MZ fly and probably treble its value. Shame MZs were never cool and few folk know of the great man.

On a serious note theres a fair chance that Kaaden's original test stuff could be valuable. He wont be doing any more and when the wall came down the MZ company in their wisdom couldn't dump the old 2 stroke stuff fast enough. I wonder how much got saved for posterity.
Cant help thinking if he was still alive with decent research cash the 2 stroke would have evolved way beyond its current state. Shame Kaaden didnt defect & go to Suzuki instead of the race bike and test rider.
