Coroner Dr James Adeley said that since the death, several of the ST 1300As had undergone safety checks.

Central Scotland Police have taken their three bikes off the road, while Lothian and Borders have already modified their 10 bikes to stop them reaching more than 100mph.

Well at least us FJR owners are OK then. I was going to restrict my bike to 100mph but couldn't be bothered to take out 3rd, 4th & 5th gears ;D

The Fazer badges are like the rest of the bike - it will only fall to bits if you go over 30mph*

* = possibly urban ledgend as there is no reported incidences of a Fazer actually getting over 25mph.
