i have been in the process of changing the cylinder head on my 600s whilst in the process removing the head there are 2 nuts you have to remove from the front of the head 1 of these sheared of flat with the head, as a result i can not remove the head now.
Is there any way i can remove this stud without removing the engine from the frame? i can not get a drill in there and these studs are high tensile steel.
please don't tell me this now means a new engine as i have just finished refurbishing the cylinder head i got from Doofer.
If anyone has an easy answer for me i would appreciate the help
thanks

Unless you have machine tools the screw really should be extracted by a machine shop. The cylinder block can be removable from the crankcase and taken for repair. If they damage the thread they will fit an insert (and just as important) get it aligned properly.
If its a snapped-off cylinder stud, you can remove the cylinder block and get at the remaining stud with stillsons. A word of warning - if one has gone the others are suspect and it would be wise to replace the set.
