Police hunting 170mph biker

Norfolk Police are looking for a biker clocked at 170mph by a speed trap on the A47 near Kings Lynn.
The fastest-ever recorded biker was riding flat out on the dual-carriageway near Terrington St John on Saturday aftertoon. However, he was travelling so fast that the officers on scene were unable to read the number plate.
Details are sketchy but officers report he was wearing a blue jacket and his bike had “bright yellow features”.
Inspector Julian Moulton said: “This person was riding beyond the capabilities of conditions - both road and sensibility. They were not only putting themselves in real danger but unsuspecting road users too.”
The Police want to speak to witnesses who might have seen the biker on the road.

they lied wasn`t 170mph my clock read 182 mph

I thought speed cams didnt compute anything over 150 (or something like that) & if he was going as fast as cops say how come they managed to get an "accurate" bead on him. Probably swung the cam around and instantly doubled his speed.

This is just up the road from me, about 5 miles. unfortunately my bike isn't yellow though otherwise i'd be able to go that fast!

Sorry Apricot, but U seem to have misread the report which actually said:“bright yellow features”. Was probably a fast green bike with a couple of scotoiler stickers on it. ;D |

Popeye as you probably know that is a nice piece of road! Never known or seen uncle Bill their though. Always fairly empty piece of road, cannot imagine any accidents along that stretch to warrent a mobile camera unit..................... Just the Government's way of making money the easy way as far as I'm concerned!  |

cuckoo says it was'nt me .my bike got stolen back feb{600n} mind u it never went that fast and it was black???mind u its black and grey now it got burnt
