Advice on getting my helmet touched up .

I'm looking to get my Arai helmet repainted. Looks a bit strange having a blue bike and blue gear to be topped off with a predominately red helmet

I thought I had found a local guy to do it for me ( phnarr phnarr ) but he's let me down.

I like this lid and it cost me a few bob so I'm reluctant to let it go.

Anyone come across a decent lid painter on their travels.

I phoned the place in Cupar today and spoke to the helmet painter. For a middle of the road project, i.e. not a hugely complicated paint job. he was quoting £350 and they have about a 3 to 4 month waiting list.

I'm sure it's fair recompense for the amount of time/skill to do the job but at that kind of money I could buy another Arai.

Hmmm. Maybee i'll be sticking with my red helmet for a while longer

What about a can of Duplicolor in Diversion Blue. Though we all know green is faster
