Looks like I'm going to get soaked on the way to Manchester,after weeks of sunshine it is now pelting with rain  Lucky I put extra dubbin on my boots  Better go to bed now as will be leaving in about nine hours.Goodnight |

Back safe and sound,if a bit damp.Funny thing was it was raining in England and when I got to the sign that says Welcome to Scotland the sun came out and the roads were all dry Concert was excellent  M.E.N.Arena is a lot better than SECC Don't know how many it holds but when everyone was singing along with Another Brick in the Wall it sounded great. ;D Well worth the 450 miles Would go again,travelodge was only 10 minute walk from arena which was good,and let me park the bike in their secure car park for £2.50 a night. Assorted songs from The Wall,Wish U Were Here,Animals etc from 8.00pm to 9.15 then 15 min break before doing the whole of Dark Side of the Moon,then came back on to do a couple more before finishing with Comfortably Numb at around 11.00. |

Fantastic..... I had to settle for a group banging out another brick in the wall at Skipton canal boat fair on Sun... They were OK. at least it was free to watch. |
