Gordy, can you please clarify what I am supposed to do here, from your thread; "I've been in touch with the Kenmore Hotel and they're happy to have us back for our lunch.
They would like to know the numbers who would like to eat in the dining room, and those that prefer a bar meal.
For those who haven't been before the dining room has a smashing view out onto the River Tay and they are totally cool with bikers using it.
So, please post up what your dining preference is".Do I put a cross next to my choice or list in numerical preference  Any reference to the Scottish voting system is purely intentional ;D Trev |

Ha ! She's discovered the plot to invade the uppity scots.
Now, we can either take Jools into our confidence and hope none of the jocks has learned to read (and therefore seen this..).
Or we'll have to tie her up and stash her in a safe house til it's all over.

I see the run evening banter in the pubs is going to be of the usual high standard.
Regarding derogatory adjectives now being used to describe us residents of Gods best wee country, did we only become uppity when we voiced a desire to govern ourselves?
Thrawn, prickly, cantankerous, I own up to, but uppity will have me sharpening the claymore ;D

Your lot have been uppity ever since the Romans failed to sort you out. It's not a criticism, if anything it's a compliment. I'm all for you governing yourselves, too - as long as my taxes don't pay for it and your MPs don't vote down here. How mad is that ? Still, off to conquer the IOW tomorrow, then a short period of R&R before the big push to pacify Alba ;D  |
