On my way back home last night on a very busy narrow street, I saw a car creeping out of a street on my right and although I could have waved it out, I made the decision that it was safer to ride past (as was my right). The driver of the car thought she was far superior to an oncoming biker and barged in front of me causing me to do an (exaggerated  ) emergency stop. I pipped my horn and she pipped hers back. We almost immediately came to a set of red lights and I pulled beside her and before I could say anything, she said "You prick! It's courteous to let people out". I was a bit gobsmacked, but told her that although it might have been the courteous thing to do, it didn't give her the right to pull into the path of an oncoming vehicle. She told me to "F**k Off" and screeched away. ;D Grrrrrrrr! Call me a chauvinist, but I reckon this lady(!) felt safe enough to talk like that, knowing full well that she was very unlikely to get a smack in the gob from a bloke. If she'd have behaved that way and spoken to my wife like that, she would now be sporting a very fat lip. Tom |

Just shows the mentality of people on the roads these days.
I'm sure they seem to think that "Give Way" means someone is going to give way to them....
I just love the way people cut you up forcing you to brake or change direction and then they give you the birdie...

I hate people like that and have to deal with it when I commute through London. Btw....lets not forget that Wednesday is A**ehole driver day....and what happens? BMW man decides to cut between me and a cyclist....he got a right ear bashing from us both at the lights!! Hehehe! Beebs is right with his comment...Give Way is often misinterpreted! |

I had a bloke in a van today sitting in the fast lane of dual carriageway doin 60! so i pulled up besdie him and made phone impressions up against my helmet at him. He just stuck his thumb up though so i dont know what planet he thought he was on.

TBH though, most of the carp drivers I encounter in London are men...trying to do more than one task at any one time...like picking their nose while driving!  |
