28 days and counting till my SWMBO and I head out there for the centenary TT, and we can't wait. I have wanted to ride the TT course on a bike for years and this will be my first visit on two wheels. In fact it is the main reason I took my test last year.

That's a good enough reason.I'm ashamed to say I've never been, even though I've been on two wheels for all my adult life (but I am still a youngling...).Will make it next year now I'm young free and single-ish.

Very nice. Nice to see the 2 stoker realised that when on the open road he was not in with a chance. Just wish that mainstream TV would go back to covering the TT.

That was outstanding, I clicked on the link thinking, 'I'll just watch a bit of it"! That rider sure knows his bike and the course. I'd loved to have seen the other riders faces when they realised what they'd been passed by ;D Time I went back to try and beat my personal best lap time. 1965, aged 20, on a BSA A7, got a better bike now, but age probably has taken it's toll

Gordy... Age wont have made that much difference That guy on the Beemer certainly knows how to ride. Wonder how old he is. Then again, you probably wont take the risks of a 20 year old. So, second thoughts probably slower... but still around to try again

Brought back happy memories of 1997 when I took my 13 yr old son on the back of a Kawasaki Voyager (Goldwing style) round the course. No where near as fast as that but enjoyable still the same. ;D I can remember being passed by lots of German registered bikes, now they are mad but thats a different story.
