Dust off the crumbs of the last mince pie & come out to play with minimal risk of your visor getting bug-splatted. Yes, it's time for the OXON Run 2008. A new starting place - roads it's likely you've never ridden, one or two great roads you already know if you've been on the Stones Run or the Ox-Wilts-Berks Run before. Starting at 10:30 at Fox's Diner Find it here: boxertrix.com/MeetingPlaces/FoxsDiner.htmThe run will be approx 115 miles, with the usual loo stops & lunch stop. Returning to Fox's for approx 3:30pm If you fancy coming along, post below & I'll add you to the sign-up! If its anything like the last one we went on it will be flippin freezin Might be ;D. Then again, certain individuals appeared to feel the cold even on an early Stones Run (2005) practice: ;D. PS: Nice bike in the background. Even nicer one in the foreground

PS: Nice bike in the background. Even nicer one in the foreground That photo was taken at the last stop as I recall I had heated grips on the Divvy and Maggie's hands got so cold they went Blue At every stop she had to put her hands on the Heated Grips to "Try" and get some feeling back into them I think there was just Us, Martin (of course) and Peter on that one, we did meet up with someone else at the start but he couldn't make the run itself. Was a great day out, Martins route was the normal type of route we are used to Farm tracks, back roads, gravel all over the place, Peter & Martin blasting off into the distance at suicidal speeds (Thats normal for them both ) Great day though and looking forward to the 2008 1st run of the year ;D

Think I'll dip my (furry) toe in the water for this one Martin. I enjoyed last years ride even though Jools punched or slapped me at every stop which at least helped the circulation..... It wasn't as cold as frosty rollocks IMHO! Ady P.S. Isn't Beebs planning a dash down to Cornwall on this date? Would it be warmer down there in Jan? P.P.S Staying sat: er no, where: depends on my luck I suppose.

I'll have to skip this one as my divvy carbs are in bits. Whacking them with my trusty phillips screwdriver and a club hammer didn't solve the problem so thought I'd try the way they suggest in the Haynes manual for a change. At least I'll be sorted for Postcombe See you all soon, Hobbit

That's a shame Ady - I can't believe that your screwdriver didn't work . Does the Haynes manual suggest rinsing them through with water? Or have you already tried that ? Don't worry - maybe Teffort will have an early Postcombe practice for you . See you soon I trust, matey .
