Picked it up this weekend and had a float around the South Lakes - put 300 miles on her. Running-in, so no more than 5000 rpm and nice and steady. Feels like a Rolls Royce after being on the Guzzi The clutchless thing is brilliant once you're on the road but a TOTAL PIG when doing u-turns. I need to find an empty car-park and get LOTS of practise in. It was embarassing at Glasson Dock today - nearly fell off

It was the first time I'd been there and boy, what a gorgeous area. Some beautiful countryside you have there in Yorkshire! I'm off work on Wednesday, so if its nice weather I'm gonna pay another visit to that area.

To be honest Keith, I'd forgotten all about it. If I'd known you were going across, I'd have joined you. Maybe next week mate.

Nice bike What's that round bit above and between the headlights on the fairing? Looks like a hole to the uneducated.

Nice bike What's that round bit above and between the headlights on the fairing? Looks like a hole to the uneducated. That's where he will be attaching the "For Sale" sign in a couple of weeks Think it's a Yamaha badge to remind Tom what brand he is sporting at the moment Dave ;D

It looks fabbo, But without the badges I'm hard pushed to spot the difference over the big Yammie. Not trying to be offensive, but hope the Japanese aren't going the same way with tourers as they did with supersports bikes. Its good to have some obvious individuality.
