Has anyone ever installed the Givi rack that is designed for their bike and it has fitted straight away ?
Putting pannier rails on the Fazer today and nothing wanted to line up.
Had similar experience with Givi fitting kits on my other bikes.

Dave ;D I have always found that the best way to fit them is to have ALL of the bolts & nuts VERY loose until you have everything connected. Then go around slightly tightening them up until they are all tight and the rack is fitted. Worked every time for me ;D |

Fitting the stuff on helga was a piece of the proverbial.....
All went on with nae probs (cos, like Colin, I left all the fasteners loose while lining the buggers up).

Yep - fitted a Wingrack 2 and a Monorack to my D9 with no problem. Walk in the park. |

i had problems fitting the pannier rails to my Fazer 1000 Dave, on 1 side i had to add a couple of washers, or the panniers would not attach ;D
