Hence why the MET started using the BMW's recently...also cos they can offroad them when needed, unlike the Honda! I liase with a lot off uniform on bikes and they all say they loved the Honda but did notice that the front end would rise at high speed, where as the BMW is solid.

As the article stated, and having seen these at first hand, the amount of cr*p they carry around, they are not designed to take it. coupled with the up-rated suspension, again making it a lot heavier. It was bound to happen. Just a matter of when, and indeed it did!!

It only happens on Police bikes because of all the extra weight.
"WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP"
It`s well known that Honda have been told time and time again about this problem with all the 1300 Pans not just police issue ones.
The rear wheel shimies all over the place and Honda have said not to load the topbox, not to have the screen to high and thats after a recall to re torque the engine mounting bolts.
You don`t want to be following one when it happens trust me it`s very scary and most of the time the owner rider dosn`t even know it`s happening untill it gets to the point when it`s really going pear shaped.

Stick 'em all on CG125's with a rucksack. Problem solved. They don't need a siren - they could just shout "nee-nah, nee-nah" while they're chugging along.
