Hi - I think one or both front wheel bearings are on their way out. I have looked on wemoto site and they sell the two bearings. Do I need anything else? Dust seals for example. Are Yamaha bearings superior? Any input welcomed. Bike is a 900 Divvy
Thanks

usually you can re use the old dust seals, so just the bearings needed ;D
named bearings are worth fitting, watch out that your not sold cheap chinese bearings as they are not as good. ;D

Thanks for quick response Penfold. The reason I mentioned the seals is that a mate of mine has done this job on his bike and he said it's worth replacing the afformentioned seals. Would you say it would be best using genuine Yamaha bearings then? The originals have done nearly 60,00 miles after all. Cheers

I can't comment about Diversions but on MZs (which had ok original wheel bearings), I used sealed for life bearings. They worked well and could not get contaminated with dirt like open bearings.

Cheers Spike Yamaha bearings ? - all the bike manufacturers use generic bearings, usually made in Japan.Just try to buy branded ones - if you're not sure, buy SKF....

I found Simply Bearings to be good to deal with. The seals were less than a pound from them and the bearings themselves much cheaper than elsewhere.
Mind you I got a set of 600 Divvy bearings from Hayling Industrial for £9.90 including delivery.
The supermoto section of Visordown has a link to good suppliers.
