Do I assume that it's normal for the fuel gauge after filling, to show full & not move for 100 miles, then drop off relatively quickly?

Yep, shows full, then hardly moves to half full/empty depending on your outlook , then drops like a stone . Trev Ps;Is that you in yer avatar? Scary ;D

Yep, that was in my beardy phase, lasted about a month. I was trying to cultivate my Robert Newton look. Actor for those tooooooo young, Ref. Treasure Island, & Oliver Twist specifically.
I now look much younger & more handsome ;D
