Its not madness to try something different & if it turns out to be a bad idea take them off again. Biking has too many "rules" on this sort of thing. A bloke once told me that my MZ wasn't standard (what?). The thing was almost 100% standard MZ. That was his problem... # side stand on rear wheel spindle = "not standard" # funny rubber clocks on fork tops = "not standard" # rubber mounted engine hung from cylinder head = "not standard" # chain running in rubber tubes = "not standard" # etc, etc He simply couldn't get that just because the Japanese do things one way doesn't mean every one else has to follow. Go for it TJ.

Precisely, only cost me a fiver for the pegs and about half an hour to fashion the brackets, so nowt lost there! Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Trev
