OT - cars and cats ??

Hi Guys,

Looking for some help as i cant find the answer on the vosa site.

I think that if a car was registered after 1992 it needs to have a CAT but if it is an import then its 1995 before one is needed...

Anyone confirm

Hi, I had a 1993 MX5 and when I took the cat off and fitted a "straight through" pipe the MOT tester failed it and made me put it back!

It came off soon as he MOT'd it mind.

I reckon its due to the emissions test. never heard of the 1995 rule.
