Perhaps its been possessed by demons? Could happen If so, sprinkle with holy water (or perrier at a push, but not the lime twist one) and mutter the magic incantation "I'm too young for a Fazer" until the problem subsides! Mystic Ady

The Divvie side stand has an engine cutout switch to stop the engine if the stand is down with the bike in gear (nice idea). Could be a faulty connection somewhere and the 'tronics dont know what to do with it.
The throttle position sensor also does stuff like that with the tacho. I cant remember the procedure.

I think it's a diagnostic code of some sort but not sure which
Anyone got an owners manual, should be in there.

Batter the thing into submission with a suitably sized twattin stick.

Will give the tps thing a try at weekend. I know something is not right with either sidestand or clutch switch as it will not start with sidestand down, with either clutch in or out. But will start in gear with clutch in, which would point to sidestand switch to me.
